another sweet union

Pleased to be the photographer for another sweet union between 2 very devoted souls!

Was sweet knowing that they too are children of God, so thank God for bringing all of us together. I am not too religious but I have started to realise the deep meaning of my religion on my life.
There's always new friends to meet everyday right?
I love my job. :)

one and a half yr down the road.

it's a blissful picture one and a half year down the road after we said "I do".

somedays it is very good. today, we just got onto each other's nerve.

I think I am stressed. I shouted at my husband. (very very bad behaviour... definitely not God-fearing)

Ok, maybe it's because I shot a very sweet solemnization this afternoon and worked on albums till 8 pm without dinner and then came back to an empty house and be expected to clear up some errands and my husband is in the movies with friends.

ok, he has been very sweet, doing household chores, caring for the dogs, rubbing my back. just some days, i think, he has enough of being put into this role.

argh, sorry, there's no head or tail here and i am just grumpy.

but the solemnisation this afternoon was really sweet. shall share some photos on our studio's blog soon.

maybe i should go rub his back now.

fantastic camera bag for ladies!

I cannot take it anymore.

i got myself a shootsac, to celebrate my switch from nikon to canon. haha. muz find excuse for it. :p

yes, elizabeth, i got the shootsac!!! shiyi, this is the bag you re subsidising for my bday :)

look here for details on the greatest looking camera bag ever, made by jessica claire, a talented photographer.

and it's the best bag for quick change of lens, after shooting today at a solemnization using the crumpler - so difficult to pull the lens out, i totally cannot wait for the shootsac to arrive!!

yeah yeah! pls ship it fast!

Our new family member - Mao mao!

Announcing the latest addition to the ever-expanding Lim household - Mao mao!

(PS: all pics are taken with my camera phone as i'm currently in between dslr! Nikon to canon)

Dylan and myself welcomed mao mao into our house as a companion to our beloved and very pampered and extremely spolit Qianqian - the queen of the household.

Mao mao came from a very sad background, lack of love and attention, totally insecured, not well toilet trained, fed low quality foodstock, suspected to be abused, he is a total contrast to our very happy QQ.

MM is a mix, suspected to be between terrier and schnauzer, maybe a bit of poodle. Has patches of wound all over his body, likely self-inflicted due to insecurity.

So far, the good news is that QQ likes MM! she trickles and annoy him a bit but he's tolerating this bouncy 1 yr old shih tzu very well. they sleep together (not in the humping yet), goes for long walk together, eat together. This is the second day and MM opened up slightly to us but still not keen to play, only likes to hide in corners.
I look forward to a new life with a new dog. :) hopefully, we can make mao mao's life a better one and heal his broken soul and heart.
The dogs teach us so much about life, forgiveness, love and companionship.
Thank you, QQ and MM. :)
(thinking ahead, we will have 2 heartbreak to deal with when this journey ends!)

QQ is constantly trying to get him out to play. QQ - you are so fortunate, do you know? QQ will never understand MM's experience but i hope she will bring the happy side out of him, just like she brings the best out of dyl and me. :)

saying bye bye to my trusty old nikons

i finally got my butt off the sofa and started photographing my cameras in preparation to sell them off. i am not quitting this job, :p, i am upgrading the cameras and hmm, doing a switch over to canon for a whole lot of reasons - ask me if you are interested.

to those whom i have strongly recommended a nikon dslr (i know quite a handful who bought after my suggestions), do not despair, it's still great! in fact, i have quite a bit of nikon stuff (pretty brand new) to let go off. just email me at regina84@singnet.com.sg

I still strongly promote the nikon d3, it's a great great camera in many ways, so yup, was great while it lasted.

clubsnap, here i come. :)

a great wedding!

on saturday, i was honoured to cover this couple's wedding dinner at Hilton hotel. :)
it was so much fun and i am so glad they enjoyed themselves during the photoshoot before the wedding.

This is also the first time I was hired from overseas, K&W lives in Germany and engaged my services through email. cool. It feels good to be trusted so much. :p

I must say, this photo is one of my favourite. I should learn to kiss this well.. hahaha.
